A slow start to the night on Tuesday, but as usual, these always end up being the best nights! We had a few old hand at the Karaoke in and a few pro's in as well! First up on the night was an old hand and a pro! His name is Gary Meade (right), and you would probably recognise him if you have been on holiday in the Cannaries over the last decade. He sang You're Beautiful, by James Blunt and then did the James Morrison song, Wonderful World. If you want to check Gary out at his new gig, he is in the new restaurant Number 10, in Powerscourt on a Friday night. Gary, as always, is a hard act to follow, but no better girl to follow him than Lorna Healy. A regular in the Oasis Bar, Lorna is know to all locals as a superb singer. She sang Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Sprinfield followed by Stephens favourite that she does, A Womans Worth by Alicia Keys. Our next singer on stage sang her heart out for her favourite man, Danny! Her feelings for him were evident in her song choice, I Just Want to Make Love to You, by Etta James, and a damn good job she made of it too! Neil from Bolton joined us for a second time, and he sang the Keane tune, Everybodys Changing, and he is a better singer than joker! He doesn't know ONE joke! Next up was Warner (his real name!) from Strabane, down with his college soccer team, who aren't very good! They were beaten on Tuesday in the all college something or other! Thankfully for us, he is a better singer than footballer, and sang his song especially for Rory McClain, who "Came out"on Tuesday night! It was Angels by Robbie Williams and Rory seemed to really like it! Next up was a man who didn't travel that far to join us! Dave McKenna, from Kilbarrack, sang the Garth Brooks Country Classic, Friends in Low Places, and it went down well, especially with the lady in the front who kept shouting, Who's Your Daddy! Next up, we had another pro in the house! I was delighted to see Norris Stevens in the bar. An absolute entertainer and a genuine nice guy.

Norris (left) did a first for us in the Oasis Bar. He did the Phil Collins track, I Wish it Would Rain Down on Me, and as usual with Norris, even when he is not wearing the Light Blue Suit(!) the cries from everyone were for more. He didn't disapoint, and, at my request, did the Sinatra classic, My Way, with a little twist of George Michael thrown in! Two superb performances by Norris, and hopefully, we will see him again next week and every week!! Another regular, and great singer was up next, and I have to say 10/10 to him for choice of song. Dan O' Shea did the Coldplay track Fix You, and a great job he did of it too. Warner joined us again, this time with his buddy Jonny! They did a song that I always claim will be a classic in years to come, Wonderwall by Oasis. They couldn't keep there hands off each other for whatever reason! Last up we had Dave Healy, and just like his Daughter, he brought the house down! Another pure entertainer, Dave knew what to do to get everyone in the mood for Tamango. He sang the old Andy Williams track, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, and that set everybody on their way to boogey the night away with Jim Kenny in Tamango! Thanks for reading and thanks for singing! We will be back next Tuesday, and every Tuesday in the Oasis Bar from now and until the end of time! And remember, it's just a bit of fun for a Tuesday night! Over and out!
